DD woke at 5.30 and didn't really settle again so am a bit tired but morning routine is already done so can't really complain.

Need to do a shopping list and get organised for shopping later.

dd has got a nasty cough again
ds has woken up with a stomach ache but still wants to go to school, hopefully its nothing to worry about.

still the rain has stopped now so maybe the day will brighten up
lots to do today and the people are coming round that built the flat today to check it as it is out of its warranty in a couple of weeks so need to do my housework asap!
need to go make ds lunch back later with a to do list. cos it keeps me motivate and i like to see how quick i can do it

DC's now want to get rid of cat

i didnt write a list and have managed to do loads i just have ironing and dusting to do! have even remembered to phone dentist and docs to make appointments!!

Hi all.
I am feeling all muddled (lots of things in my brain to remember, need to write things down).

Still planned the nxt 4 weeks at work (written everything in diary). Only 4 weeks left til holidays .

Made a list for various birthdays in july. Need to get to shops at WE (alone!)

Bought squash. Need to start a grocery list .

Check fly lists when I get home (its all lists today lol).

well i've done everything except the ironing.
was very shocked when had the housing inspection i expected 1 or 2 people but got 5!! swarmed like flies through the flat checking everything (they were polite and asked can we go in bedroom etc, didnt just go in!) they have to come back and tighten up some loose sockets and they want to replace the taps that were put in the other week to replace the broken one

well the ironing will wait dd wnts to go looking for pirates so we're off out!!

@ only four weeks til hols Scatty! I've just realised mine break up in less than 5

I need to get on top of the house before they are home all day and things descend into chaos. We had to spend my summer holiday savings a while ago, so I realy need to look for some free days out too.

I need a list, too I think.

I've got m routine printed out on the kitchen wall, so I'm going to work through that and comeback in 1/2 hour.

You do know you can't always control what other people do, even your own child. that ds hit out.... is not settled at nursery,or was it a bad day for some reason?

Been out all morning and

DH GOT UP AND DID THE MORNING ROUTINES !!!!

so I got up in my own time, at my own speed and I feel a HELL of a lot better for it.

Dropped Ed off at school and went mooching Round town and the next town for the morning.

I bought

1lb sweet potatoes
6 barn eggs
Large tub of Oxy Action
Travel Backgammon (for DGD who is sgtill in hospital and going mad with nowt to do)

There was just nothing to get and I had a bit of cash melting a hole in my pocket.

Got home, straight onto MN to check the OJ threads, do the online banking, make lunch and

I have a steering group meeting this evening so I think I've clipped my wings for the day TBH

I have been at toddlers this morning then went for sarnie with friend and her dd after, been to library and got the Kim and Aggie book to spur me on, does reading about h/work count?

have a load of washing on, 1 more to do, have tidied up front room and that is pretty much it, i cant tell if its going to rain, where to put my washing, in? out? in? out? (shake it all about)

Hope those of you whose days started badly have had things get better.

I've just got back in after a morning delivering flyers.

Dressed to shoes done
Breakfast dishes done
Made sandwhiches for lunch done
2 minute hot spot (my dressing table) done
5 minute room rescue (conservatory)done
Clean sink and bath
Change ds's bedding (he wet)
Ironing (at least the clean bedding and tomorrows clothes)
Clean children's doors & knobs
Empty bins
Pick up children from school
What's for tea?
Dishes
Shine sink
2 minute hot spot

I have gossiped with a friend over a cup of tea for two solid hours
Been out shopping with dd (ok we went into down bought bread and milk and went to the cafe)

I've now got 20 mins till school/nursery pick up then I'm doing PTA stuff after school

the doctor rangf me today and the blood test have come back and the doctor is certain i have dieabetes so am really worried agin now any1 else got it lol

BWB i'm sure your ds isnt the first child to lash out at nursery worker, don't beat yourself up over it - my nephew threw a chair at his have you had to resort your childcare for next week? hope you manage to sort it easy enough

babyjjbaby i think it depends what kind of diabetes it is. ds's grandad has one kind (cant remember which) he has to be careful what to eat not too much sugar etc, but apart from that he seems to be fine (unless i'm missing something, i'm sure thats all he does)

hello everyone else- looks like i'm not the only one not in the mood today.

we went pirate huntng, we found the pirates ship, but couldnt see the priates, dd nearly caught a couple of pigeons for her tea , then we went to the castle to see if we could find any knights, but unfortunately it was just schoolchildren and their teachers there today- still better luck next time

well today has turned out quite nice weather wise

DD2 and I got some books out, and did a bit of shopping. Picked up some nice bits and bobs in a sale.

Just thinking about what to do for supper now (I know...left it a bit late!)
