How to remove these stains?

I bought a top from an expensive activewear brand that I’d had my eye on for a while. In the sale £50 down from £100. One of those soft but slightly shiny ish kind of “peach” texture synthetics (polyester / modal / elastase ) Wore it once for a few hours this week and got some tiny olive oil splashes on it from spaghetti. Washed it within the hour with stain remover spray and bio liquid on 30 (as per label) and marks are still there!

Any suggestions please? I’ve since read reviews from others who have said it marks really easily! Was thinking washing up liquid but I’m additionally wary to put anything on it because I’m not entirely sure the marks aren’t bigger than they were before and therefore from the spray not just the actual oil. and obviously it’s also been washed already and (air) dried.

What a huge waste of money if it can’t be salvaged!

photos of just some of the marks…

Washing up liquid, definitely. Put it on the front and back of the fabric overvthe individual stains. I cant see how it would damage the fabric.

Washing up liquid. Work it into the oil stains then wash as normal.

You definitely need washing up liquid, add a blob to each area of oil, and rub it in until it soaks through and foams a bit, then put it through your normal wash. Add half a cup of soda crystals to your wash too, on top of the clothes.

Bar soap. Any bar soap will do but I find the antibacterial kind just seems to work better. This is if you don't have a laundry bar soap which is the best option.

Wet the soap, and rub the soap onto the marks. Back and front. Then leave it overnight or for a day or whatever works for you.

Then wash normally again after.

Thanks everyone! Will try washing up liquid first then bar soap if that fails…

Elbow grease- the brand, not the expression!
