melted mints rock disaster

I have a big wedge of melted mints in the little cubby hole by my gearstick, which is a cup holder I think. They have melted in there and solidified like a big white rock filling the whole space. Any idea how I can liquidate it/clean this stuff out?!!!

Do you have access to a fish slice and some lube?

longtompot · 30/03/2026 17:03

I think a hammer & screwdriver to break it up to take it out might work

Fine screwdriver, heated up in hot water should help you get down the edges and hopefully pry it out whole

I’ll borrow a hammer and have a go

If you can’t smash it out you could try using a hairdryer to melt it and scoop out?

I might need to as the hammer didn't quite get all of it!
