How can I remove black mould from discoloured bath silicone sealant?

The silicone around our bath where it meets the wall tiles is all discoloured with black mould. I’ve tried several times with the mould and mildew spray but it is not getting underneath the silicone where the mould is. How can I get rid of it?

You pull it all out, clean it, and the apply new sealant.

You can't remove the mould from the sealant, you have to replace the sealant.

You could try soaking rolled up lengths of kitchen roll in bleach and laying along the silicone and leaving overnight. If that doesn't work though, I agree with the above poster it needs removing and re-applying.

Rubber gloves on, soak cotton wool with bleach, push it into the sealant leave overnight.

The cillit bang mould spray works very quickly as does the cotton wool and bleach overnight

I’ve managed to remove black mould using Mould Magic from Must Have Ideas. My daughter has a very severe mould allergy and I’ve tried everything under the sun to remove it and this is the only product thst comes close to getting it off

Mould magic is the only thing I've had work on silicone sealant. Leave it on for a few hours. If it's very bad, it might need 2 applications.
