Moths - what works?

I’ve just moved a piece of furniture in my bedroom and have found a patch of moth eaten carpet underneath it. I’ve searched the rest of the room and have found a couple of other smaller patches. Help!! How do I deal with them?

Sadly the only thing that worked for us was to get rid of all our wool carpets.

You can use them in conjunction with their moth traps and will probably need to do a couple of rounds of the wasp sachets to fully clear them

Eek - what did you replace them with?

With carpets using man-made fibres! Nothing we tried worked.

You need to dry the eggs so use something like Bicarbonate of soda, leave down a few days, hoover, and repeat for several weeks.

I’m sorry it’s a total nightmare
we could keep them at bay to some extent but never got rid
