Morning EV, Luda,Shanna and Jas and Babyj (nothing serious at the hosp I hope).

Done hoovering and started laundry and washed up.

Not looking forward to work today as have to do a difficult appraisal with someone. I hate appraisals, its not really part of my job and I don't get paid enough to do them (I think).

Back at lunch.

EHM · 17/06/2008 08:27

TMH I am gong to start calling you lucky white heather.Thats what my dad says when people have a run of bad luck. The tides must change soon! Big {{hugs}} from me & ellie for you & ds1. I mentioned this a few times when dc's have had CP, not sure if anybody took any notice. But we used when Ellie had CP at 10 months & my brother used for my newphew Boots own make

I doubt I will get much flying done

intravenouscoffee · 17/06/2008 08:53

Hello all. Just caught up on yesterday's thread. The knives were really out for Hunny on the christening thread! Is it full moon? Or has the whole of MN got collective PMT?

Morning routine getting there but feeling quite demotivated today. It's grey and cold here today so that doesn't help and DD started the morning by tipping a cup of coffee over the toy chest in the lounge. Luckily none of it touched her so she's not scalded (feel sooooo guilty for not realising she could reach the cup, what night have happened etc ) but the toys are all soaked in coffee, as is the carpet. However, I come on here and remeber all the stuff you lovely ladies are coping with (esp. Mad) and tell myself to stop whinging.

Right, will go and do something productive, possible involving carpet cleaner.

Mad Hope the appt went okay. Glad it was good news at the hospital last night and that DS is doing okay.
Babyjj Hope all was okay at the hospital. Have you told us why you're going or is it something you'd rather not discuss?
Hi to jas, luda, EHM, EV, Scatty, Shannara and all others who follow.

hownottodoit · 17/06/2008 09:34

Morning all,

sounds like you've all got busy days today. THM, I don't envy you and your poor ds having to cope with cp. My first two had them when they were 2 1/2, and 9 months, only good thing was that they didn't pick them like older children would, and were more easily distracted. Hope it's not too much of a nightmare for you, and that they clear up quickly.

I'm feeling quite proud of myself, I'm sticking to the babysteps and am managing to get other things like hoovering the stairs, and cleaning the kitchen floor done, which is more than I've done in weeks.

I'm learning that it doesn't matter if there are other things around which are a mess, if I can do one thing that makes me feel better then I'm getting there.

Well I'm waffling now, best get on. Bye for now.

Grouchy I'm confused too.
Ruby haven't read your other thread but if its about chucking out unwanted gifts then I do it all the time.
hownot I too find flying is good for getting those jobs done that you just would never do otherwise (I tend to only do the easy stuff if not prompted).

To do:
laundry
clean BR (and mop floor).

babyjjbaby · 17/06/2008 13:01

Ludaloo · 17/06/2008 13:36

LOL....I am waaaaaay too confused too! Like you say though GO everyone is great no matter what they are called

My replacement washing machine has now broken so I have been flitting backwards and forwards to my neighbour who has been kind enough to let me use hers.
I have an absolute mountain of washing though, I am sure she will start to get annoyed soon!

I have just wiped the patio doors down (they were very grimy from little mucky handprints)
I've also dusted downstairs and tidied round. Upstairs needs some TLC...especially the kids room.

I'm getting there slowly though

sagacious · 17/06/2008 13:39

Thanks Jen !!!It takes me months to work out as all of you posting seem to familiar to me IYKWIM
I like By the power of Greyskull

I used to have a crush on He Man
Prince Adam was such a wuss though...
