Manage your machine on the app

Washer has broke. DH is going to look at it and see if it's just the bushes on the motor.. but if not we'll have to have a new one.

"Manage your machine on the app"
But I have to stand there and put the washing in, add the detergent, but apparently managing it on the App will be great?

Sounds like more to go wrong, and how long are they likely to support the App?

It’s useful to know when it’s finished I think is the best thing or if you want to remotely start a wash at a certain time say for energy reasons. My washing machine is app connectable but there’s some of glitch means it only lets me know when it’s finished. My dishwasher is also app connectable and works well.

Basically it’s useful if you have loads of loads to do so you’re alerted to put the next lot on. Especially when modern machines have those adjustable timers.

To be honest I got them because I’m a bit of baby and like shiny new techy things.

Oh yeah and the app updates. Different brands are compatible with different apps or have developed their own.

I've never used the app, it seems bonkers when I have to physically use it anyway.

I disconnected my dishwasher from wifi/app as I never used that function and it couldn't be used when it was updating which it did one time too many.😂

Thanks all
The washer got fixed. £5.99 brushes for the motors.
So no new washer needed. I'm not sure I'm that sad. :)

That’s sounds a lot better than having to buy a new one
