Hi. Sorry didn't know where else to post!

I am wondering, am using DP mobile at the mo as mine packed up and we are waiting to both get news ones. When I put my sim into his phone it came up with a few text messages that he had sent but for some reason they were on the phone with my sim in there and amongst my messages. I am wondering if I give this phone back to him will it come up with my texts that I have sent?

Yes, probably, unless you delete them first.

Doodle2U · 16/06/2008 19:26

Possibly. Some times they save to the phone rather than the sim.

It saves a certain number to the phone and then saves to the Sim. If he had used up all the phone spaces then yours will have saved to your sim, if not then some will have gone on there. what kind of phone is it?

Its just a nokia. I was thinking that some save to the phone, in which case these few texts did and some store to the sim.

usually the phone stores just 10 and the sim around 200, depending on the phone. You can tell on some of them by a symbol next to the text, and if they've saved to the phone they give you the option to move to sim

Ok, so just put an old sim in my current phone, There were no messages in my inbox but in sent messages there were loads but when I put my current sim back into it there are messages in both inbox and sent messages, if that makes sense!

that means that the sent messages are saved to the phone, and the inbox ones are saved to the sim

ok thanks, but I just tried to change it to sim. Will try again!

does it really matter? if you don't want him to see them for some reason then just delete them!
