What are these marks?

Any ideas what products my DD is using that is destroying all my towels?

I used to have to use antibiotic creams and lotions on my skin for acne, and they stripped colour out of bedding and towels.

Bleach.

Something with an acid PH? Like a face wash or cleanser ?

Tooth paste

I have marks like that on towels from when I've dyed my hair, or from back in the day my teen years it was when using Oxy10 for spots or Sun In on my hair!

I’m just going to have to pour stuff on the damaged ones and work out what it is. She’s wreaked about 15 hand towels and it’s driving me nuts - as I like them too 😢

Prescription acne treatment did that to towels DS was using. I can’t remember the name of the medication but it was a cream in a small tube.

Some sort of bleach. Benzoyl peroxide in acne products or hydrogen peroxide possibly.

Has she used hair dye and then wrapped her hair in the towels?

She does use hair dye but only about once a month and tends to use the same towel. The marks just appear so thinking it’s got to be something she uses.

Yep my ds acne cream does this!

Just give her the same ones? They're still usable as towels even if they don't look pretty. She can keep them in her bedroom if you're worried about appearances in the bathroom.

My son’s acne cream has done this to sheets and towels.

All my towels go like this. No acne cream or hair dye. I’m not caring until the kids leave home

Tigi Colour goddess shampoo and conditioner.

Some kind of medicinal cream, as mentioned above. Or make up, like foundation?

any more clues about this?
my swimming robe has very similar marks
I only ever use it swimming and I suppose it could have got shampoo/conditioner but unlikely as I rinse very well- I don't use any other products, except contact lens solution- I tried dripping that on to see if it was that - but it wasn't
