When will my bathroom towels stop moulting?

I brought some John Lewis Egyptian cotton bathroom towels back in October and they've been washed many times but are still dropping loads of lint.
How do I stop them moulting??? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Do you have a tumble dryer? I found that that seemed to remove loads of lint on the first few occasions which generally spread the process up. The ones I had in my pre-tumble dryer days left me covered in fluff for months after I’d first bought them.

No I don't have a tumble drier, but I have used one at the launderette twice with no change to the amount of lint they produce. I dry them at home on a washing line (if it ever stops raining) or indoors & using a dehumidifier.
