Can I put my canvas Kew bag with leather trim in the washing machine or will it be eaten alive by Persil and doomed?

lovely canvas stripey bag

leather trim and sort of brass ring bits on it

canvas bit got Blackcurrant Panda-- juice Organic Nettle Juice de Ponce spilt on it over the weekend and the bottom of the bag is dirty anyway

can I shove it in the machine or will it be doooooooooooooomed?

I wouldn't chance it myself. Try handwashing it?

I use Vanish upholstery spray on luggage

I thought of hand washing but wouldn't that end up patchy?

I may wrap it in a towel in a pillowcase....whaddya think?
