Shower spray for after shower cleaning

Does anyone know of a good spray for the glass doors and the shower itself for after a shower, without having to clean it properly? It may not exist, but im sure I've heard someone else talk about it.

I use one from Neat but pretty much any supermarket does them too - just look for daily shower cleaner on the label. I find it makes a big difference as I'm in a really hard water area.

Yes this one is great, as is the Method Ylang Ylang shower spray. Keeps everything clean, scum free and smells great.

I don’t understand these sprays, do you spray and leave or is wiping involved?

Nannyfannybanny · 11/02/2026 13:20

Method doesn't required rinsing

And it doesn’t work if you have really hard water

I tend to give the shower doors a quick sluice down with the shower spray at the end of my shower to get rid of soap residue, then spray on the shower spray. I’m in London (i think we have hard water??) and Method shower spray works well for me..

NutButterOnToast · 11/02/2026 14:12

I have a squeegee thing in the shower that I use to get the tiles and doors dryish and then i use shower spray.

I like the method ones too.

Magic cloths are the way to go.
Shower, screed abd then buff with the magic cloths - no chemicals needed. Beautiful shinny shower screens. Works on mirrors, windows and other shinny surfaces, just spray with water and buff.

I'm not sure how you are meant to use them, but I spray the shower with the spray as soon as I get out of the shower and let it sit/work whilst I do all my moisturiser etc and then I rinse it off. It's probably wrong now reading what every one else in this thread does

Wonderknicks · 11/02/2026 16:55

I used the method one but it is expensive. When we had 5 of us using the shower I insisted everyone wipe it down with a squeegee. I was wondering if there was a home made version anyone knew of that works? It's basically diluted detergent, I think? The supermarket ones are much cheaper but don't smell as delicious.
I'm thinking of writing to Nancy Birtwhistle about it!

Pepperedpickles · 11/02/2026 16:58

I find if you just squeegee the screen straight afterwards you don’t need any specific sprays (and we live in a hard water area too).

Spray and leave

AltitudeCheck · 11/02/2026 17:05

We have very hard water. We use a window blade to remove water, spray with white vinegar and wipe with a cloth. It's a faff so often a fight not to be the last one to shower in the morning and have to do all this!

Nevergotdivorced · 12/02/2026 13:14

I have a Joseph Joseph squeegee hanging in ours, no plastic bottles or chemicals, takes seconds and works a treat.

Sunshineandrainbow · 12/02/2026 17:20

Waitrose, astonish or Sainsbury's naturals I use.

EverythingIsComputer · 12/02/2026 17:22

I’ve tried the Method one, has a lovely smell but it’s no match for a quick squeedgie

Nannyfannybanny · 13/02/2026 11:30

I've also got a battery window cleaner blade thingy

ALittleBitofWensleydale · 13/02/2026 11:34

Lakeland sell a good one which I use after every shower

MiddleAgedDread · 13/02/2026 11:36

rinse down the glass and tiles to remove any splashes of shampoo / shower gel and then squeegee!

Needanadultgapyear · 21/02/2026 08:11

I squeegee and then method shower spray.
