right this is prob a really stupid question but

we are having a conservatory built in a coupleof weeks and will need vertical blinds but i don't know how you order them

do you order them for the full wall width and then seperate ones for the doors or do you order them seperately for each individual window? have never had vertical blinds so any advice will be most appreciated

thanks

Please do not order a vertical blind that's the full width of the whole wall!!!!!!!!!!!

You won't get one that size anyway, you measure each window and get a seperate blind for each.
The windows are probably quite large (I assume in a conservatory) and it will look lovely with separate blinds.

But where are you getting them from? If it's from a blind company they will come to your house and measure up themselves.

If you're doing it yourself, and they're not made to measure you should be able to trim the width to fit. The only problem with those type of blinds is that they come in a set length, so if yours is shortish window you're left with alot of length left in the blind at the bottom, if that makes sense.

if you go to a local company, they will come and measure up, make, them and then come back and fit them. As your conservatory is not yet built. I would wait until it is, to ensure the measurements are right. Its not that much more to get a company to do this for you who knows what they are doing.

Big job, could be more costly in long run if you were to get it wrong. One or two windows another thing altogether.
