Can you please help me find the perfect hoover for my needs?

Been considering a Dyson for a long time but I do not have space for a docking station.
What I need is:

  • A very good quality, powerful hoover that works well on hard floors and rugs
  • Light weight and easy to bend to clean under the sofa etc
  • Also with a detachable part so that I can clean the sofa (have pets)
  • Ideally cordless but that doesn't require a docking station (does such thing even exist?)
  • Don't mind spending up to £250 ish if it's a top quality item that will make me want to hoover more, lol

Can you pls recommend a model?

Seeing as you want a good quality one rule out Dyson, not worth the money at all. Have you looked at Shark? My Shark cordless doesn’t need a docking station but I also have a Sebo plug in upright which is better but I use them for different things. I also have an Eufy robot which is good for a quick sweep around.

Yoi are not the first one to say that, why the hype if they are so rubbish? Such a shame!
I don’t know anything and am open to any brand as long as they have these characteristics (no docking requires is very important as I truly wouldn’t know where to keep it!)

Forgot to add I’d also like one that is super easy to empty!

Marketing!

I know Miele ones are popular too but I’ve not tried one yet. But if your budget is £250 then maybe Sebo and Miele are not in contention.

Here’s the pet ones from Shark https://sharkclean.co.uk/pet-hair-remover-vacuums-cms-page.technology.truepet
