I need a decent bed, anyone got an Ikea bed?

Our bed broke this week so we're on the floor on our mattresses. Are any of the Ikea beds reccomendable? I don't like the look of the new malm series although we've got the chests of drawers - any suggestions?

The reason I ask about Ikea is that we're in germany and I don't know any of the other shops here apart from Ikea for reputation etc.

Hi, we had a ikea bed and really regretted it. It was cheap mind you. The bed was crap, it was a black frame but the slats just balanced on the frame. They would fall down all the time and would be hard to get all back. Its about a year old and now sits in our loft, and have a divan now.

We also bought our matress from ikea (sultan?) which was meant to have a long garantee (cant remember, but it was a long one!). After less than 6 months, we took it back and demanded a refund as it sagged soo much that I couldnt even sleep on it and would rather use the floor!
