Which vacuum cleaner should I get?

Sorry for such a boring thread!

Dyson has broken and need a new hoover asap.
Haven’t been that impressed with the Dyson I must say so don’t want another.

Needs to be -
corded (already have a a cordless for quick vacuuming)
upright as I struggle with pulling along a cylinder one
Bagless preferably
Able to cope with dog hair
Not too heavy

Have heard good things about Shark, does anyone have one?

I have Miele Cx1 Blizzard cat & dog. It was pricey but it's fantastic.

I've had two sharks (one cordless, one corded). Both are fine - not amazing though & often have to take them to bits because of hair being tangled round the brush (despite anti hair wrap technology) and blockages. Prior to that I had dysons - in a par with shark I'd say, but more expensive.
