Cleaning jewellery

Does anyone use a ‘device’ to clean rings, earrings, necklaces? My engagement ring needed repair and when it came back it was like a different ring. Clearly it was filthy. I have used an old toothbrush, but it obviously wasn’t going a good enough job. Any top tips? Gold and platinum metals. Thanks

Take it to a jewellers once a year and get it properly done.

Yeah true, but thought there may be a magic gizmo I could dump it all in.

There is. You want one of those ultrasound cleaners. I'll find a link.

I bought this a year ago and it's great for jewellery. Also orthodontic retainers, which was the original reason for purchase. Plenty of cheap options on Amazon.

Interesting as my DH has to wear a mouth guard and it often looks revolting 😂 Thank you!
