How do I declutter clothes?

I have been trying to go through the DCs clothes as we have a clothing collection coming up at school. We have so many clothes that we have been given and there are some really nice ones, but we simply don’t have space for them all.

I can't decide what to keep though.

How do I decide what to keep and what to donate? A lot of it is summer stuff, so can’t wear immediately!

My tried and tested method is to categorise…so put all sleepwear together and sort through, then all underwear, then all outerwear and so on. I find it much easier that way.

Also think about how many of each type you actually need - I never keep more than 7 of any thing.
