Food mixer question

i love cooking and love baking but have always felt a bit disappointed with my kenwood mixer . it doesn’t get to the bottom of the bowl leaving that bit unmixed where I have to stop it and scoop it up . Is this normal ?

I’m tempted to buy something new in the sales ( any recommendations ? )

I wonder if this (or the alternative in the right size for your machine - there are 3 sizes) might be a cheaper alternative to an entire new machine?
