The grout in my bathroom (tiled area in shower walls) is looking very grubby. How do I clean it preferably without using harsh chemicals?

i was wondering the same thing this morning so will watch this thread with interest as the tiles in our shower are looking really grubby to.

I don't know how you can clean it but you can buy special grouting paint to paint over it.

Toothbrush and lemon juice or bicarb. Scrub like hell, lol!

bleach and a toothbrush

snap mrsbadger. except i use a nailbrush. and don't wear your favourite t-shirt unless you actually want a pink bleachy speckled effect.

I do it naked in the shower while the conditioner soaks into my hair...

I have a steam cleaner and gave them a good blast last week. Came up as good as new. (Just have kitchen ones to do now - groan.)

Go to or order stuff from Lakeland. Yes, their stuff does have chemicals but they sell the only product ever, in this world, that actually removes the mould from grout.

Fab stuff. All their shower/bath cleaners are really good - they actually do what they say.

Thanks everyone. Will try with bicarb first before resorting to the stronger stuff!
