Vacuum bags

Has anyone ever tried the vacuum pack bags that you store clothes in etc then suck the air out with a hoover?are they any good?

I stored all my clothes in them that i had grown out of whilst pg! They are still there under the bed dd is 7mo! I think they are great, really do shrink down, are quite heavy though. Got mine from Wilkinsons

How much were they approx and how big are they?Was looking on Ebay wondered whether best to get them from there or not.

Can't remember cost, but must have been under a tenner or I wouldn't of bothered. Too small for our duvet, but big enough for all my tops??
