Hot water bottles

Hi, I’ve always used hot water bottles but they just aren’t made the way they used to be , I’ve always made sure that when I buy them they meet the safety requirements, but two from Boots have leaked , I don’t use boiling water and always check the date on the hot water bottle .
Any recommendations or brands please ?

Do you have a microwave? I have a Hotties microwave 'hot water bottle'. It's a square of gel, in a cover. 1 min on each side, job done. Had it for years.

Failing that, I'd be tempted to try one of the electric rechargeable ones if they dont take too long to charge.

I use a plug in heat pad, no weight to it, larger than a hot water bottle too. You can adjust the heat settings and how long it is on for. In bed I use an electric blanket to stay toasty warm.

I love a hot water bottle. Boots ones have got much more plasticy, Superdrug are more rubbery and might be more what you're looking for.
