Stacking washer and dryers from different brands.

Our Miele washing machine needs to be replaced, but the tumble dryer that sits on top doesn't. The washing machine hasn't lasted as long as I would have liked so I am looking at other brands-Ebac's warranty is invalidated if you stack. Other brands don't say 'yes you can stack whatever dryer you like on top of this machine'. So I am looking for any positive washing machine / Miele dryer stacking set ups.

Are they stacked within a divided frame with sides and a shelf between the machines? That's what I had in my old house when space was more limited in the utility.

Out of interest how long has your Miele lasted?

My washing machine is JL. It is ten years old. Does about 6/7 washes a week.

I’ve always had my dryer stacked on top of my washing machine. Currently have a Bosch washer & a beko dryer. Both are great. No stacking kit now (we dud have originally but then advised not needed). Always supplied & installed by local “washer man” so we have had consistently good advice & service. He never raised an issue re warranty concerns.

Thanks, the Miele is 11 years old and has been repaired already this year. It now needs another repair which is why we're looking at a new machine. We would have liked the Ebac but the FAQs say you can't stack on top of it.
