Corded Dyson vs Shark Antiwrap

Eyeing up a new Hoover in the sales. Currently have a 7 year old corded Dyson, which has needed replacing for the last year. Torn between the shark antiwrap pet model or replacing like for like with a Dyson corded ball animal. Shark is considerably cheaper but we have enjoyed the Dyson!

We don’t want cordless. Any experiences with the shark or newer Dyson?

Neither, I'd go for a Sebo or a Miele. Sorry if that not helpful, but I've had a rubbish Shark and gave away my Dyson. My Miele and Sebo will both outlive me and they're brilliant.
