Getting rid of mould on matte painted walls

I've just found two small spots of mould in the corner of my bedroom wall/ceiling. It's the sort which looks baked on and can't just be wiped away. I've tried making a paste with sodium percarbonate, but the granules won't dissolve. Has anyone got any tips for getting rid of it? I do realise I need to see if there is any damp in the loft above it to prevent it coming back.

You could try a mould and mildew spray

I got good advice on this from a cleaner. Use the mould and mildew remover and leave it on till the black goes. Do not use elbow grease to clean the black - there will still be spores present.

Thanks, both. I was trying to avoid using a mould spray, but I think I'll have to. Nothing else is shifting it.

Hg mould spray is good. As others have said, leave it for a while.
tbh if you don’t address the cause of the mould it’s likely to just return. Buying a window vac (mine suffer badly from condensation in the morning) has been a game changer for me.
