Please help. I’m going demented with the smell of dog wee in my lounge carpet. She’s always been houseclean, but is terrified of fireworks and has weed on the carpet in fear a couple of times the last few weeks. Each time I have blotted with puppy pads, scrubbed with Dr Beckmann pet cleaner, rinsed, re washed with bio washing powder and yet every morning when the door has been closed and the heating has just come on I’m hit with the acrid smell.
I’ve even bought and used a small vax spot cleaner but this morning the smell is just as bad.
Can anyone suggest anything else I can try, or do I just need to replace the carpet.
