shampoo spilt on wool carpet, its a foaming nightmare.

i didn't notice that a shampoo bottle had tipped over after ds' bath last night and about half the bottle has leaked into the carpet.

i spent the whole evening trying to get it out but it is still foaming at me this morning.

what can i use to get it out, the sponge ive been using is only making it worse.

HELP

kitchen towel
soak drench throw away
soak drench throw

don't add any more water till it's virtually dry
then only a bit and more soaking and throwing

do you have a vax? or can you borrow one? I had a similar fate kast night but with bubble mixture instead. HAd to pur water over area to dilute it then vax it up, took me 30 mins - it was a foaming nightmare!

happened to me too, Foam everywhere, by the time I'd got the vax off a friend the next day it had whitened the carpet. - what the hell does it do to your hair....

my friend had to get a new carpet after a large bottle of bubble mix got spilt over her carpet - it wet wavy! She did manage to claim via contents insurance though.
