Have any of you ever heard of, or used one of these? They are relic of the past. I remember my mum using it quite a bit in the caravan 50 years ago.
I don't have the room for an Air Fryer, but I have inherited one of these. I would love to use it for say little things you would normally put in the oven, jacket potatoes etc.
If anyone can help with this I'd be very grateful!

I have never heard of them but I am intrigued , how does it work ?

I meant to add a couple of photos. The recipe book is just an image, I do not have a copy.
@DeanStockwelll I cant remember. They are a relic from the 1970's

My grandmother used one of these to make healthier fried breakfasts for my grandfather who had been diagnosed with cardiovascular issues. I remember it so well!

@homehaircut Thanks. I doubt she would have used oil then. I'll have to experiment with different things and see what happens 🙂

We had one which was years old before it gave up the ghost. It was very good for heating things like pasties without burning the. I suppose it was quicker than putting the oven on.

Ah now I have seen the pictures I think I recall my gran having one but I don't remember her using it , it looks interesting tho .
I wonder if we can still buy them ?
