Diffuser reeds that actually work?

Just that really. I buy (what I think are ok ones) but they just don't make the house smell lovely.

I don’t have any suggestions but I’m interested to see what responses you receive, OP.

vipersnest1 · 22/10/2025 23:48

Is it a case of not turning the reeds occasionally?

suburberphobe · 22/10/2025 23:50

Diffusers are expensive (Rituals)

I use incense, Indian, natural. Nag Champa is a good one.

I really like Neom ones. Far better than Jo Malone IMO.

White company ones are also quite nice.

Bitzee · 23/10/2025 09:50

We have the White Company night ones at the moment because they were on sale and they smell lovely but even cheap John Lewis ones still smell, the key is to turn the reeds every day if you want to smell it continuously

Handmade by an independent company. Recommended on here, bought online, I'm impressed. Refills available too.

Aran Sense of Scotland last for ages. Mine are still smelling from last Christmas. After the Rain is my favourite.

I love Ortigia, really lasts. Unlike Jo Malone. Agree with turning over the reels too.

Another vote for Valentte. I was really impressed by the throw from their lavender diffuser. And their prices are much more reasonable than most places.

I really like the diffusers from Ashleigh & Burwood, they have some great offers on at the moment with QVC. I also like The White Company. I do prefer subtle smelling diffusers and these are my 2 that really smell lovely.
