Dishwashing silver plated cutlery

20 years ago we were given silver plated cutlery as a wedding gift and we use it every day. We have always put it in the dishwasher but recently the silver plate seems to be being damaged by the stronger dishwasher tablets we use. Does anyone have any recommendations for dishwasher powder or tablets which works for silver plated cutlery?

The silver plated cutlery set we had specifically said hand wash only. It’s not something I’d have put in the dishwasher tbh.
