Mission

OP posts:
Ludaloo · 05/06/2008 13:04

Hmmm looks like I might be overdoing it a little....I think it is because I have only really been running for about 2 months!
I'll scale it down after the race I think Thanks guys
It is good to know it is common though and it isn't just me running funny!

scatty hope you have a fab evening!

I'm whizzing round like a looney trying to tidy before I have to go out again. I am looking after my friends DD2 for an hour every day as she has a new job as dinner lady and her DD2 isn't old enough to go with her yet.
Infact she will be here any minute to pick her up so I had better skidaddle.

BFN xx

A late Grouchy HELLO to you all

I've not had chance to read the thread yet so hugs to all and hope you're all well

I was sidetrcked yesterday by a man from the council's contractors. Seems we can have our eaves Lagged for nothing (Yay) Thing is said eves have not been opened for 12+ years and the attic/office is rammed with clutter also for 12+years. As it's the boys playroom I flatly refuse to tidy it. Their mess, DH's problem IYKWIM. But I just couldn't let a total stranger have to pick their way through the pit and I took 3 carriers of rubbish out, threw lamps away (Knacked) (Down 2 flights of stairs) and moved some stacks of boxes of sentimental clutter. DH moved the furniture about so there was access to the eave doors.

Plus I had to go to Ed's assembly. It was very good and done to the whole school (350 pupils Nursery to Year 6) They did all of 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar'. All the children said a bit and Ed did the bit when the caterpillar becomes a cocoon. He was good and clear. A teacher came up to say how well he had done and how much he had to remember. Ed was stood there so proud with his little chest and chin stuck out, and a big smile. Awh listen to me being overproud mum {blush]. You'd think no one else had kids I was just so chuffed for him.

Hello

Had a great time at the theatre with the family We all really enjoyed ourselves

I managed to get the train. Had a bit of a wobble which hasn't helped make me feel confident about next weeks car journey

My swimsuit search was dreadful I eventually settled for this but I'm not sure I'm happy with it. I have a v long body so find it extremely difficult to buy swimsuits.

Grouchy Eds assembly sounds very sweet
Where's EHM?

grouchyoscar · 05/06/2008 20:43

Hello again

Picked Ed up at 3 and went shopping for the present...Got home at 6.15!

Started tea. Ed carried on like Hugh Laurie in Blackadder the Third and DH got home and I logged on to MN and

at the OJ update.

Sounds so trite but tea is ready, got to go.

tortoise · 05/06/2008 20:47

Evening all.
Only read last 2 posts
GO It is very about Steve, hope he goes peacefully.

Bianca Glad theatre was good and well done for making the trip to town. Tankini looks ok, not something i could wear, too much wobbly tum. I did get some 3/4 length trousers in Matalan though.

tortoise · 05/06/2008 20:48

Anyone else ready to watch BB9? (i know, i'm sad!)

babyjjbaby · 05/06/2008 20:55

yep i am gonna be watching it tort it hasn't been much bout it on the telly has there this year

BiancaCastafiore · 05/06/2008 20:56

Tort I'll be watching I think...I don't want to wacth but won't be able to resist a nose
I have a wobbly tum too - the tankini actually covers my tum so no wobbly flesh on show, thank goodness! Still not sure I can carry off the flowery pattern though...

tortoise · 05/06/2008 21:01

I haven't heard much, no. lets hope it is a good one this year. I hear they have a jail outside to punish rule breakers!

Bianca thats good. Mine would pop out! Really need to tone up and lose weight.(STILL)

Jas · 05/06/2008 21:06

No BB here

Tankini looks good to me. I like patterns as they disguise my complete lack of curves. I'm guessing a Bravissimo one ins't for that reason so assume it will equally disguise any extra curves!

I'm off to watch house

I've done the cake, but my camera is dead. I'll try and get a pic taken tomorrow. DD1 likes it

OP posts:
dylsmum1998 · 05/06/2008 21:15

bianca i love the tankini- i'd get one but my lack of curves isnt catered for!

I'm not watching bb have to confess to absolutely hating the programme. i just dont get it! LOL

BiancaCastafiore · 05/06/2008 21:16

Jas, no, a bravissimo suit doesn't make up for lack of curves. I was measured as a 30G today ! This time last year I was a 38inch back size so appear to have lost 8 inches!!!

Yikes at first couple into BB house!

tortoise · 05/06/2008 21:16

lol Dyls. i have watched it every year!

tortoise · 05/06/2008 21:17

WOW Well done bianca.
Annoying couple 1st. not impressed! All to get sex on BB isn't it!

dylsmum1998 · 05/06/2008 21:18

LOL my xp used to watch it religously every year, he'd even sit staring at the 24 hr cams where people were asleep- think thats where my absolute refusal to watch it comes from, pure bloody mindedness

tortoise · 05/06/2008 21:24

My Xp2 used to have it on during the night too!
