Dupray Neat steam cleaner? Anyone got one?

My Vileda steam mop went bang at the weekend- suspect the heating element. Anyway, rather than replacing with like, I’m thinking to get one with accessories I can use to clean grouting, taps etc. in addition to floors. The Dupray Neat has caught my eye- anyone got one and can comment on pros & cons please?

Did you get one @Labradorsmum ? I'm trying to decide whether to splash out on one. I think they look like they're easier to store than a Karcher. Decisions decisions!

Hi @notallymcbeal
No not yet- still haven’t replaced the one that went bang- tbh the lack of responses to my post put me off a bit, then life got in the way….
I think tomorrow is the start of Black Friday deals on the Dupray website, unless anyone knows of anywhere it’s already on offer? Like you I was attracted partly by the apparent ease of storage, and also the range of accessories so it’s still the best one I’ve seen for my situation.
Let me know if you go for it!

@Labradorsmum hi, did you get one ? And if you did, which one did you go for? The white one or the grey one? Thanks

Hi. Yes I got the grey one (Neat plus I think?) when it was on offer a few months ago. Does a good job but one thing I hadn’t bargained for is how wet it leaves the floor for example- need to leave the outside doors open and even then it takes 30 mins plus to dry. This was over winter so hopefully it will be quicker now the weather is improving.
Also- got that model as it claims to heat up instantly- it doesn’t, need to wait a couple of minutes for the steam to generate.
Hope that helps.

Thank you thats helpful
does it clean grouting efficiently?

Labradorsmum · 22/04/2026 18:21

Apologies, don’t know why I didn’t see this before. Yes- the grouting between the floor tiles in the kitchen came up really well after a few goes with the steam lance. Wall tile grouting in the bathroom I gave up on as it was difficult to access due to the length of the extension hose and the shower screen position/ other immovable things in the way.
