How to clean PEVA bibs

Hi, I have two bibs I got from Sainsburys that are made of PEVA (floppy plastic stuff) with a polycotton trim. Label says sponge clean only. I've been cleaning them in a bowl of hot soapy washing up water, but one of them has gotten rather smelly and this method doesn't get rid of the smell. I think it might be the polycotton trim that has got a bit manky and wet and then not dried quickly enough too many times. Any ideas how I can give them a good clean and get rid of the smell?

I put all of my bibs (even plastic backed ones) in the washing machine.

If it is a proper plastic one then dishwasher.

aah yes dishwasher, didn't think of that. Thank you. Yes I put all other bibs in the washing machine, but this one is nearly all plastic.
