I keep getting ads for this - seems nice enough in that is eco, cruelty free etc -but is it genuinely as good as they say ?

No, it’s utter crap. Expensive crap.

Leavesfalling · 05/10/2025 12:11

I think it stinks and is a waste of money. M&S kitchen and bathroom sprays are miles cheaper and smell miles better.

BrunchBarBandit · 05/10/2025 12:16

It looks to me like expensive crap as OP says but it has inspired me to buy a £1 spray bottle from the supermarket that I keep topped up with a solution of water, drop of fairy liquid, and several drops of essential oil. I love Patchouli at the moment.

I spritz my cushions, curtains and rugs with it a few times a week and my house smells lovely.

(I use proper cleaning stuff for cleaning, as well as some chemical-free cleaners such as bicarbonate &lemon juice which costs very little)

Definitely crap. Don’t get me wrong, I do love the smell of a couple of theirs but it’s really just essential oils. And I can buy them much cheaper locally. I held on to the subscription for about 4 months then cancelled it. I also didn’t like that I couldn’t insist on not having florals (allergy to lily and jasmine pollen) so that did it for me.

There’s a lovely eco brand that sells in Tesco & Asda that’s much better - and cheaper.

Right! Sounds like I should step away :)

Thanks all for the input and tips

Method is nice and as someone else mentioned the m&s stuff is nice but doesn’t smell too strongly which I like. I also like the flash spray, wipe, done in the winter smells (Norwegian sky?).

onlymethen · 05/10/2025 12:25

Utter rubbish, smell nice but doesn’t last long at all.

landlordhell · 30/11/2025 14:18

I got some on Black Friday at £27 for 4 scents, 2 bottles, oh de loo drops and two eco cloths. It’s nice but I won’t be renewing. I’ve always used my own stuff. You just need some veg glycerin from the chemist to make the oil blend with water then you can add essential oil and soap.

AgathaX · 30/11/2025 14:54

It's very over hyped. The smell doesn't last, the solution doesn't clean, and the bottles leak. I've had two bottles plus a replacement top when I told them they leaked, and they've all leaked. Plus every priced.

landlordhell · 30/11/2025 15:09

The other thing is that a glass bottle is a bit of a hazard. But you can get the same bottles on Amazon far cheaper. I think what I’ve got for £27 is reasonable but would never spend £90 on it which is the full price. I’ve cancelled the subscription already. When the 4 bottles run out I will make my own up. Have to say it has cleaned my white quartz worktops nicely and not left a streak .But so do a lot of other brands.
