Hi, our Miele C2 vacuum has finally packed in and I need a new one ASAP!!
All our carpeted areas are cream wool loop carpet, that type that looks like porridge, so that rules out any vacuum cleaners with a beater bar such as a typical Dyson as it ruins wool carpets.
Hard floors are all laminate. No pets but our house does tend to get dusty quickly, I shed a lot of hair and I have two small kids who seem to be made out of crumbs so I do vacuum most areas daily.
I'm finding it all a minefield when I do my own research. I've heard very mixed reviews on Shark vacuums and cordless vacuums generally. I don't really want another cylinder vacuum but it looks like they are generally the ones suggested for wool carpets.
Help!!! Any recommendations please?
