Can anyone recommend / warn me off buying any models - I need a standard sized integral dishwasher!

Thanks!

I've got a Bosch - I'm very happy with it, and they get good reviews in terms of reliability etc. It's got lots of movable/removable racks so you can set it up for the kinds of stuff you do most often, which works well.

I have a Miele and am pleased with it.

I have had trouble with both Bosch and Smeg dishwashers in the past so couldn't recommend them. I know most people are happy with Bosch prouducts so perhaps we were just unlucky but the dishwasher only lasted 18 mths { and cost £450} and we have also had similar problems with a Bosch washing machine and fridge so would never buy Bosch again.

I was looking at [http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.202-7529.aspx this] - anyone got any views?!

OOps, this

Thanks for the warning about the Bosch. I guess so much depends on the model though

Or this, even!

BigTillyMint, I have a Whirlpool fully integrated dishwasher and I don't think it's as good as the Bosch we had in our last house. The basic 30 minute programme doesn't always get everything clean and the other programmes seem to take for ages. I found the Bosch dishwasher easier to stack and the cutlery holder seemed larger too.

That's really helpful toadette, thanks! I don't suppose they are the same models that I posted?

I recommend this

It's a ADG7440 model, bigTillyMint. Just had a look online for reviews and looks like I'm not the only one to be reluctant to recommend a Whirlpool dishwasher 3rd review here (although the other reviews are more favourable!)

We didn't bother looking at reviews before we got the Whirlpool dishwasher as it was recommended as a good appliance by the kitchen firm. Wish I'd insisted on a Bosch or a Miele now though.

Ha Ha Ecmo. So do I, but my DH gives it the thumbs down as it's his chore to do the washing up and he prefers loading the dishwasher!
