DD first bed wetting accident - best way to clean mattress?

9/10 times I always put waterproof mattress protectors on but before we got round to doing that DS did have an one accident.

How can you clean it apart from the top surface, the wee goes straight thro?

Might surf the net and look.....

Well don't know if i have done the right thing, I have scrubbed the matress with anti bacterial spray (all I had in cupboard) and then got off as much as I could of that with a dry towel. I have put matress under the window to dry. I will get some bicarb of soda when out later

I will get nothing done today. Got to go cleaning in a minute, a whopper 5 bed detatched ensuited house with a 6yo in tow, not looking forward to it, what about you?

I have got to go out to get DH a birthday present although I don't feel like it! I put it off yesterday and it's his birthday tomorrow. Have ny 3 year old DD with me so it will take hours!
Will your 6 year old be any help claening?
