Craft paint spots on carpet

DD8 has accidentally left a few small paint spots on the carpet in her room from one of those kids craft sets with the wooden shapes and paint in mini tubs.
Ive run the spot cleaner over it, tried sard wonder soap, but wondering what is best to use.
She is sorry, and we do have rules about no crafts upstairs. It was lapse in judgement and supervision so not looking for parenting critique- just potential carpet solutions!

If they are sitting high on the carpet pile I'd use a small razor blade to almost shave it off. That might not work if it's softened from the spot cleaner. My experience is it'll be tough to get out and I'd probably get a rug though ;)
