How to wash a handmade quilt?

How would you wash a handmade quilt?

There are quite a lot of white sections and they are starting to look a bit yellowy.

Id maybe wash it in the bath with .napisan or do it in your machine if it has a hand-wash/delicate cycle

Handwash cycle with a handful of colourcatchers. Lay flat to dry, ideally on towels on the lawn. Unfortunately you may have missed the weather window and have to wait until spring.
Do not hang it up to dry.
