Recommendations for vacuum cleaner?

I need a new vacuum cleaner! Preferably under £300.

Cordless would be handy but not essential.

No pets but a hairy husband 🙃 so anti hair wrap/ maybe a pet model?

Light and quiet would be good, but I mostly want power.

Are wet/dry vacuums any good? I have two toddlers so might be handy?

Recommendations welcome! My husband has destroyed our last two Dysons with brick dust, he won't be making the same mistake with the next one.

Henry for me, every time.

Tried a few, Henry for me just works and made in England! Not fussy, a good workhorse, rolls well.

Had my Miele compact for 23 years. Still going strong.
