window cleaner time

My window cleaner has just been and he spent just under 2 mins washing my windows. He uses a long pole and I have 2 windows upstairs and a 3 window bay window downstairs and it costs £8 - he comes once per month. It am sure he used to spend more than 2 mins so was wondering if this sounds about right?

As the daughter of a window cleaner, I wouldn't touch anyone who only uses a long pole, never mind spends 2 minutes on the job. No way those windows are clean. That said, £8??? Mine is a "proper window cleaner", ladders, good wash, dry and polish with scrim. Every 6 weeks and it costs £25 for 3 larger windows, two small ones and a smallish conservatory. And they gleam when he is finished. Whole job - about 10-12 minutes I would say, but I haven't ever timed him. Though I have watched him and they are done "proper" 😁
