Not a dyson… which is best?

We love our vax cordless!

Well I like Dyson so can’t recommend anything else but I can say Shark was awful for me

Daughter has just bought a Shark cordless that folds when not in use, she said it’s very good.

I've had the Sharks, the Vaxs and even a Dyson over the years. All lost their power eventually, as I suppose they do. Anyhow I decided not to go all out expensive and bells and whistles for a replacement, and earlier this year saw a bargain on Amazon. It was around 60 quid at the time. Yes, and I thought oh well I'll give it a go and it will tide me over. It is so good that I got a second one, so one upstairs and one down. It's not perfect in that it doesn't have the no tangle hair thinggy, but I don't have pets so I just clean the roller regularly. So for 120 odd quid I got two cordless vacuums. Battery life is very good and it lasts a good half an hour and more, which for me, is more than enough for a quick run around.

I do confess to having a corded Miele for when things get really bad, but for day to day I find this good.

Sharks are good but I wouldn't go cordless the power doesn't last.

I cross-referenced which? with the Amazon sale last year and ended up with a Samsung. I’m very happy with it but I can’t compare because before that I had a 20-year-old corded Dyson tank that weighed a tonne!
