Well, I just thought it would be good to leave the polish to soak in overnight as it was a while since I'd polished my boots...by the morning, yes I could get a nice shine but excess polish had dried hard leaving a whitish crinkly residue all over.
I then thought I could soften it by putting on a neutral shoe cream... didnt work at all
What can I try now? Feeling rather ridiculously foolish... and they are favourite camel-coloured ankle boots!!
