It's on at 50 deg, about half way though, doesn't seem to have done much damage yet. Have paused the machine - how do I get it out????

Try turning the machine off for 5-10 minutes. Turn it back on, put it on a drain or spin cycle to empty the drum, then open the door and voila!

Or, if the pink vest has been washed loads of times already, it will probably be ok.

Thanks Ilike, I didn't even realise my machine had a drain cycle!

I often put pinks in with my whites (DDs knickers) - not fuschia maybe but paler pinks seem fine.

It's full on fushia, may even be red

Seems to be ok. Vest is removed. Crisis averted, thanks for all your support
