Mattress topper for big man

Ds is off to uni. He is 6'3" tall and broad in proportion. At home he has a good mattress, but we don't except the same at uni.

I'm seeing mattress toppers from £45-£145 ish. How to choose?

Can anyone recommend a mattress topper that will be supportive for a big man and not break the bank?

I’ve got a 6 foot 5 boy off to uni and searching for the same ! Mind if I sit and wait for an answer? I’m also searching for a towel poncho for the shower for him - bought one on Amazon and was hilariously too short .. we should have a tall boy uni thread !

A towel poncho? For an 18 year old?

Mine uses one from Decathlon. Yes, a towel poncho. TBH only when we're on holiday, for uni we got the largest towels Ikea does.

I am a short woman rather than a tall man, but I have a mattress topper and you haven't had any other answers, so...

We're on holiday, and ds likes the thick mattress topper in his bed. It is not memory foam. Ds disliked memory foam mattresses when we were looking for a new mattress for him, so this narrows down the search a little: I need to find him a thick mattress topper that is not made from memory foam.
