Steam cleaners & robot vax

Hi
we are just about to move into our new home.
id like a steam cleaner for kitchen cupboard doors, windows etc and wondered whether to just buy a hand held rather than a big thing that does floors / sofas etc

I’ve also been looking at robot hoovers but the roomba is £££££
there’s a shark one on offer that mops and hoovers, would anyone recommend that?
all the floors downstairs are tiles and one room with wood floor

thanks

I got a robot hoover that mops, it was pricey, and I wouldn’t recommend it. The mop basically sponged the floor lightly and was fine if everything was pretty clean, but wasn’t great on stubborn stains. I suppose if you were really organised and had it hoover and mop every day it might be good. For me we had a mix of floorings in different rooms which it didn’t handle well, but for you being mainly tiles that could work well. Mine did its best work on the kitchen tiles and I liked how I could send it round when I went out.

My hope is that it’ll just clean every day whilst we’re out at work
