Ironing in the sunshine 🌞

Does anyone else iron in the garden in the summer….? I love it it’s the only time I actually don’t mind ironing 😁.
I put my ironing board up, plug iron into my long extension from the garage socket and I hang everything on hangers on the washing line or fold into my basket.
I put the radio on and I even clip a fan to the ironing board on a really hot day 🌞.

Oh my you’ve just brought back memories of my Mum doing this! I had totally forgotten this. I might have to give it a go!

I have memories of turning on the Ashes once. Some woman was always doing her ironing in front of the cricket so her sons dared her to do it at the cricket. And she did. They carted in her basket, board, iron, ran an extension cord out of the ABC broadcast box, I think, and away she went.
