Hi, Hoping for some advice please. I have a few polyester tops that seem to have sweat smell that does not completely wash out. Could anyone suggest a good washing power/liquid/gel that might be good to remove. My current persil does not really help.

Thanks

Dylon sport liquid or Halo sports wash.

What temperature do you wash at @purplecorkheart?

I second Halo sports wash. It's cheapest in Sainsbury's.

Halo Sports wash is fab but you could do what I do as suggested by previous MNetters.
I have a tiny spray bottle with neat vodka in it that I use to spray on the underarms of any offending polyester top in the family laundry pile.
Then I wash as normal (40C) with my usual washing powder which is Sainsbury's Lavender & Jasmine Bio Powder.
You can use white vinegar instead of vodka for smells but I think vodka works better & it also gets those yellow deo stains/marks out too.

You only need a couple of sprays but if I don't have any vodka then I put a capful of Zoflora in the wash draw where the powder should go (I put my powder in a laundry circular pod thing in with the clothes in the drum as any powder in the drawer leaves it clogged up)

Edited: works brilliantly & usually lasts a couple washes then I just repeat the process
