Professional carpet cleaning - under big furniture?

We’ve recently had some mouldy floorboards and plasterboard ripped out of the bathroom, and new carpet put in to the upstairs. We have carpet downstairs and I’ve booked in a professional carpet cleaner to come and do the lot.

I have only done it myself before, so unsure what we do with the big furniture and where we could put it! When we did it ourselves, it was easier as we just moved things around as we went. I definitely think I want them cleaned underneath so leaving them in place isn’t an option.

What typically happens? Would they help me move heavier stuff if I was to hang around and move as they work?

When we had ours done we moved as much as possible out of the room but the sofa etc had to stay and they cleaned around it. They said they couldn't move it around as then it wouldn't dry properly underneath and might lead to damp.

Thanks. Did they give you a timeframe in which you could put your furniture back? I could move sofa in to kitchen, and stand beds upright.
