Limescale in shower

Does anyone have any wise words on how to get rid of limescale marks in a shower - especially in tile grouting and on the door. We live in a hard water area.

Rinse, squeegee, wipe dry. After every shower. Then it won't build up in the first place.

@Soodenim

Viakal Limescale remover is very effective

eta; my water supply contains high levels of hard water minerals such as calcium and magnesium (over 201ppm)

Ooh my fav topic! Get Viakal, as mentioned above. Coat all surfaces with it (keep windows open). Let it sit for a bit, maybe 5-20 mins, then rub with a cloth, then rinse. Use squeegee.
Repeat as many times as needed.
I recently had to repeat this about 5 times on a really built up shower door. I just did it over the course of a week or two, each time I needed to shower.*
I also managed to do my mum's glass shower door in 24 hours. Because it was tough glass, I risked using a green scrubby pad rather than my usual J cloth, as I didn't think it would scratch the glass link. It worked!
I live in a ridiculously hard water area.
*There were also some proper crusts of limescale on the bottom of this door, which I took a Stanley knife to, and scraped them off. V satisfying.

As PP, Viacal is probably best.
I did try the recent tip of using a magic sponge on the screen. Did improve it a bit.
I think the real answer is to keep on top of it daily. It's a pita.

I used to use Viakal but now I just use white vinegar. Also Method spray after a shower will stop it building up in the first place.

I make the Nancy birtwhistoe recipe (v easy).

Works like a dream

All of her recipes are so easy. I'm such a convert.

You can put cling film over your preferred descaling cleaner to keep it damp and working for longer. This helps a lot.

Second method spray after a shower, I love the passion fruit one

White vinegar, but check it doesn't damage the grout first. Then either install a softener or use squeegee and shower spray every time. It doesn't take long.

Bower Collective’s limescale remover is much more effective than Viakal. Even my cleaner was impressed. 😂

Once you’ve got the shower screen in decent shape, use Neat Daily Shower Clean (or Method’s equivalent) after every shower. Literally just spray it on, leave for a few mins and then squeegee it off (I have a OXO squeegee with a wall holder in my shower). Takes seconds and keeps the shower screen looking perfect.
